We feed nutritious dog food in our kennel. However, we do prefer and recommend that if your dog has a sensitive stomach or is on a special diet that you bring your own food. We please request that you bring only the amount of food your dog will consume during their stay in a labeled airtight container. We have a refrigerator available at our facility.

A copy of current vaccinations is the only requirement.

 

Shot requirements – Shots are required to avail all our services. For our boarding, day care, pet spa for dogs, you will need DHLPP, rabies, corona, bordetella. For cats, it is FVRCP, feline leukemia, rabies. We provide bedding, blankets, toys, treats, and bowls. However, you are welcome to bring anything from home that will make your pets stay more enjoyable. We ask that any bedding you bring be machine washable. We are not responsible for any items lost or destroyed. We will do our best to make sure all items are returned to you, but your pet may have different ideas.

Your pet is welcomed to stay as long as needed. We require payment for each 30 days in advance and a credit card on file so we can charge the boarding expense for every 30 days thereafter. Discounts are given depending on length of stay.

Yes, we will accommodate your wishes and board your pets together, as space allows.

All of our kennels are air-conditioned or heated indoor with a doggy door that leads to your dog’s personal access to a shaded outside run. Dogs are continuously rotated throughout the day for several sessions of playtime in our spacious fenced playground, at no additional charge.

Yes, if your pets are boarded together in the same suite. We offer discounted rates off of the second and third or more pets boarded at the same time. Discounts are not given to pets requiring separate suites.

Pets frequently become thirsty from the excitement and stress of seeing their family when they’re picked up. This is all natural and you should expect your pet to be a bit dehydrated from all the excitement once you get home. Pets, while in our care, are constantly monitored and their water is checked and refreshed throughout the day. They have access to water in all areas.

We do administer most medications at no additional charge. Please label all medications clearly and include what the medication is for such as how many times per day, how many pills, how it is taken etc. Please provide any accessories that may be needed to administer medications like cheese, peanut butter, hotdogs etc.

We do book reservations for all of the major holidays and do require drop off of your pets in advance (usually a day or two or more before the holiday) for a stay with us over the major holidays. We are closed to the public on the actual day of all major holidays with no pickups or drop offs. There is someone with Woofs ‘N Whiskers that always cares for our guests during the Major Holidays. The major holidays we serve are as follows: Memorial Day, Easter, Mardi Gras, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.

Our hours of operation provide periods of quiet relaxation. This time of relaxation is crucial for maintaining a stress-free atmosphere and keeps our guests on a schedule. We are an owner operated 7-day a week operation. We are open to the public Monday-Friday 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. On Sunday, we are closed with 4:00 PM Pickups Only.  These hours allow us time for relaxation as well as our boarding guests. This is why requests for special check-in or out times will only be honored in an emergency with an additional $25.00 fee.
